Every launch monitor session produces a wall of numbers, and most owners either worship all of them or ignore all of them. Both waste the hardware. Four metrics carry almost all of the improvement signal, three more add context, and the rest are for fittings. Here is the decoder.

The context numbers

Spin rate turns launch into flight shape, and its optimum moves with ball speed: around 2,600 to 3,100 rpm keeps a 130 mph drive airborne, while 160 mph wants roughly 2,440 to 2,970. Club speed sets the ceiling everything else works under. And carry against total separates the swing's work from the ground's guess, which is why practice decisions belong to carry.
