Every projector question in this hobby is secretly a geometry question. Throw ratio decides what fits, lumens decide what daylight allows, and the swing decides where it mounts.

Projectors fail in simulator rooms for one reason before all others: the throw ratio never matched the room. A projector either fills the screen from where it can safely mount or it does not, and no brightness, resolution or price fixes geometry. Throw ratio is distance-to-screen divided by image width: a 0.8 ratio projector fills a 10-foot-wide screen from 8 feet away. Lumens, resolution and the light in the room

Mounting, out of the swing's way

The projector must never share space with a swing arc or a ball's rebound path.
